THE SIX SPEEDS THAT STARTED IN 07 IN THE 1500-3500 GAS TRUCKS IS A VERY WELL BUILT TRANS. THEIR WAS HOWEVER SOME ISSUES WITH THEM. THE 07-08 TRANS HAD RING SEALING ISSUES WITH THE INPUT DRUM.

Stock;
All gaskets and seals are replaced.
All frictions are replaced.
All steels are surfaced and replaced as necessary.
The 2/4 Band is replaced.
Bushing and torrington bearings are replaced as needed.
The 2 and 4 servos are then cleaned and inspected for wear.
The 3/4 clutch pack comes standard with 4l65e clutches and frictions adding extra clutch surface by 17 percent to add a longer transmission life. THIS BUILD ALSO INCLUDES A NEW CONVERTER

1-2 accumulator replaced with an improved unit.
1-2 shift servo replaced with a performance unit.
3-4 accumulator replaced with an updated unit.

Advanced-
This is where the fun starts
High energy frictions and steels are utilized throughout.
3/4 clutch pack is one of the several weak points.
The 3/4 clutch pack recieves an increase of 33% in this area.
The sun shell is also a weak point over 350hp.
This unit will receive the beast sun shell.
The pump will be fully rebuilt with high rpm pump mods to keep line pressure up over 5500rpm.
The valve body will be modified to handle high power levels.
The band will be replaced by a wider and much higher energy band to provide a much crisper 1-2 shift and hold more power in 4th.
A corvette servo and a modified boost valve will be utilized raising line pressure.
The Advance build with the stock input drum and shafts is good for Around 450HP
The sonnax smart tech drum is 600.00 more and that includes a billet input shaft.
A reinforcement sleeve for the stock drum is 75.00
5 Pinion planet sets are 250.00
With all upgrades listed the transmission will live well under hi power levels.

PLOW PACKAGE;
THE PLOW PACKAGE INCLUDES ALL OF THE ITEMS IN THE STOCK REBUILD PACKAGE. HOWEVER, IN ADDITION TO THE STOCK PACKAGE A SONNAX REAR SERVO SPACER KIT IS INSTALLED. THIS SERVO SPACER HAS A LARGER FOOTPRINT TO PREVENT THE SERVO FROM CRACKING AFTER CONSTANT CYCLING OF REVERSE AND FORWARD. THE SECOND COMMON ISSUE WITH THIS TRANSMISSION IS THE BOOST VALVE. IT STICKS IN ITS BORE AND CAUSES HIGH LINE PRESSURE IN CASES AS HIGH AS 500PSI THIS IS REPLACED WITH A SELF GOVERNING BOOST VALVE WITH A RELEASE VALVE BUILT IN TO PROTECT FROM UNCONTROLLED LINE PRESSURE RISE.
